Chocolate Agouti, A_bbC_D_E_ |
| | May's Adrian, a six month old Chocolate Agouti. The chocolate behind her causes her nose to have more of a carmel color to it. The chocolate removes the black band from the hair shaft and replaces it white brown. |

Black, aaB_C_D_E_ |
Two day old black kit. Jet black. Belly is also black. | Shown left to right is a REW, Black, Blue Tort, with 2 Torts and another REW behind. There is no doubt when you have a black EA baby - they are JET BLACK. Their wool fades out as they get older, just like the other EA colors do. | Five month old Black EA. Note her jet black nose and face. As they mature, the wool gets lighter. |
Blue, aaB_C_ddE_ |
Pictured at 5 days, top to bottom: tort, black, REW, black, blue, blue tort | Pix Needed | The key on the blue and black EA's is to look at their nose first. The Blue EA has a blue colored nose - it definately is not black. Their wool may look similar at first glance, however, their noses will be very different. |
Chocolate, aabbC_D_E_ |

Black Tort |
A two or three day old black tort kit. Notice the darker shading on the sides and head. | At 2 weeks, a Tort EA looks like a Tort Holland in coloring. | As adults, the Torts wool is much lighter then when younger. Note how dark the Tort nose is compared to the 4 mth Blue Tort below. |
Blue Tort |
Blue Tort kit on upper right - his head is resting on a REW. Taken at 1 day old. Note how his color matches his mother's wool color (a blue doe). Pictured at 5 days, top to bottom: tort, black, REW, black, blue, blue tort. | Baby Blue Torts have a blue sheen to their coat. See the blue on his ears, shoulders and front feet. You can tell he is not a self blue, but a blue tort, because of the brown tort color on his back by my thumb and the area on his face between his eyes. | The blue face and nose of a 3 month old Blue Tort. If he were a Self Blue, his wool would match his nose. But it doesn't - it has a brown cast to it on the tips of the wool. |
Chocolate Tort |
Three day old Chocolate tort kit.and two week old Chocolate Tort kit. | Same kit now two weeks old. Notice he is a carmel color. If he were a Chocolate, he would be a very dark brown/chocolate color. | And, here he is again, GBF's Ghiradelli is growing up. Pictured at 4 months. |
