Surface color is light tan ticked with lilac tipped guard hairs. Has one or more alternating bands of tan and light lilac. Has a light lilac undercolor (white is allowed though).

Chocolate Agouti, A_bbC_D_E_
May's Adrian, a pretty Chestnut. May's Adrian, a six month old Chocolate Agouti. The chocolate behind her causes her nose to have more of a carmel color to it. The chocolate removes the black band from the hair shaft and replaces it white brown.

Two day old black kit.Two day old black kit. Jet black. Belly is also black. Black EA. Black EA. Shown left to right is a REW, Black, Blue Tort, with 2 Torts and another REW behind. There is no doubt when you have a black EA baby - they are JET BLACK. Their wool fades out as they get older, just like the other EA colors do. Cinder Girl,					a show quality English Angora black doe at six months of age. Five month old Black EA. Note her jet black nose and face. As they mature, the wool gets lighter.

Gracie's kits are 5 days old. The key on the blue and black EA's is to look at their nose first. The Blue EA has a blue colored nose - it definately is not black. Their wool may look similar at first glance, however, their noses will be very different.

Black Tort
Two or three day old black tort kit. A two or three day old black tort kit. Notice the darker shading on the sides and head. Tort English Angora. At 2 weeks, a Tort EA looks like a Tort Holland in coloring. SeaBear a Tort					senior buck here at Green Barn Farm in South Bend, Indiana. As adults, the Torts wool is much lighter then when younger. Note how dark the Tort nose is compared to the 4 mth Blue Tort below.
Blue Tort
Litter of 1 day old EA's. Blue Tort kit on upper right - his head is resting on a REW. Taken at 1 day old. Note how his color matches his mother's wool color (a blue doe). Gracie's kits are 5 days old. Pictured at 5 days, top to bottom: tort, black, REW, black, blue, blue tort. Legend, a Blue Tort at 2 weeks old. Baby Blue Torts have a blue sheen to their coat. See the blue on his ears, shoulders and front feet. You can tell he is not a self blue, but a blue tort, because of the brown tort color on his back by my thumb and the area on his face between his eyes. Legend at 3 months old. The blue face and nose of a 3 month old Blue Tort. If he were a Self Blue, his wool would match his nose. But it doesn't - it has a brown cast to it on the tips of the wool.

Chocolate Tort EA kit. Three day old Chocolate tort kit.and two week old Chocolate Tort kit. Chocolate Tort EA kit. Same kit now two weeks old. Notice he is a carmel color. If he were a Chocolate, he would be a very dark brown/chocolate color. Chocolate Tort Jr. Buck. And, here he is again, GBF's Ghiradelli is growing up. Pictured at 4 months.

White English Angora 2 weeks. Two day old REW's. Kits are pink at birth. White English Angora 2 weeks. As they get older, their white wool comes in and their eyes open to reveal their ruby-red-pink eyes. Kastor, a White English Angora. GBF's Kastor - Three month old REW.

Pointed Group

Black Pointed White
Seventeen day old pointed white kit. As young kits, they look just like a REW. As they get older though, the coloring starts to develop on the nose, tail, ears & feet. 17 day old pointed white kit - not sure of color yet. Chocolate and Black Pointed Jr. Does. Black Point on the right and Chocolate Point on the left. Pix to Come.
